Jedward – ‘Waterline’ amazing song alert
Comments
Jedward have done something more shocking than that time they stripped off and danced in their underwear for 3 minutes and 17 seconds. They’ve made a song worthy of their amazing pop star personas. Listen to ‘Waterline’ below:

Katy Perry to release Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection in March
Comment
Katy Perry has spent a year and half trying to make us feel like we’re living a teenage dream – but it’s not over yet. Despite the fact that her second album Teenage Dream was originally released in August 2010, plans are full steam ahead for a special edition re-release called The Complete Confection, which will hit shops on March 26th (artwork above!).
What’s new? Well you’ll finally be able to own the remixed versions of ‘E.T.’ and ‘Last Friday Night’ (featuring Kanye West and Missy Elliot respectively) and the gorgeous acoustic version of ‘The One That Got Away’ on CD for the first time ever, plus there’ll be three brand new, never before heard tracks (two of which are rumoured to be previous leaks ‘Part Of Me’ and ‘Dressing Up’).
And if you’ve not yet got tired of hearing all six of the singles (in case your memory is fuzzy that’s ‘California Gurls’, ‘Teenage Dream’, ‘Firework’, ‘E.T.’, ‘ Last Friday Night’ and ‘The One That Got Away’), Katy’s even chucking in a seven minute long megamix. Generous pop stars are the best kind of pop stars.
We’ve added this release to our Pop Diary. Hit like below if you’re going to be buying The Complete Confection.
Err... You're facing the wrong way boys...The Wanted sell out LA show, meet David Beckham and Perez Hilton
Comments
We’ve only just revealed The Wanted’s school report for their current assignment to break the US, but last night Jay and the rest of the lads continued to exceed all expectations. Their show in LA was sold out – even after being moved to a bigger venue to try and fit more desperate and sweaty American fans in. We would have sold our mum to have been in that mosh pit.
But it wasn’t just hormonal teenage girls with funny accents watching the band – a few celebrity guests even showed up to see what all the fuss was about. Warning: the picture below may cause you to spontaneously combust. Here’s The Wanted with professional pant wearer David Beckham.
Unfortunately he was wearing trousers when he stopped by during the soundcheck. US blogger Perez Hilton also introduced the performance and claims he’s found his long lost twin in the band. Errr, we’ll let you lot be the judge of that.
Congratulations to the boys – but hurry back soon because you’ve got a blimmin’ UK tour to do next week. (Don’t forget to read 5 things you NEED to know about The Code here.)

Adam Lambert talks Madonna comeback, new video, making sweet passionate love: MP! Exclusive
12Comments
Here’s 3 things we learnt from Adam Lambert’s IN:DEMAND interview that we’ve heard and you haven’t.
Adam on Madonna’s comeback: “I’m excited. I’m excited to see what she’s got in store for us. I’ve always been a Madonna fan. I think she’s super bold and she works with great producers. I’m glad she’s working with William Orbit again because the ‘Ray of Light’ album is probably my favourite Madonna era. So I’m excited.”
WHAT WE LEARNT: Adam Lambert is excited for Madonna’s comeback and has good taste in Madonna albums.

Ed Sheeran to release free new EP on Valentine’s Day
Million-selling cat botherer Ed Sheeran has announced he’s set to release a new EP onto iTunes on February 14th, or Valentine’s Day to those romantically inclined. The new EP will feature US rapper Yelawolf, will cost zero pennies and be called The Slumdon Bridge EP. You can hear one of the EP’s tracks ‘You Don’t Know’ here.
We’ve added the EP’s release date to our Pop Diary. Hit like if you’ll be downloading.

The Wanted perform ‘Glad You Came’ on Ryan Seacrest
The Wanted can add another good grade to their Breaking America Report Card because yesterday they stepped by Los Angeles radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest (that’s the guy that hosts American Idol) to announce that the Ed Drewett-penned ‘Glad You Came’ is going to be used in Glee, and then performed a husky acoustic performance of the massive tune. And for those of you who’ve seen this all before, take a look at the comments to see Americans lose their shizzle over ‘the one with the black hair’ – who remembers that moment?

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Ball tour news, poster and stage!
Update: Tour dates will be revealed at 11am US time, and now we’ve also been treated to the official Born This Way ball poster – check it out on the left!
Lady Gaga’s been unusually quiet over the past month – but in an attempt to start drumming up some excitement and hype for her upcoming Born This Way Ball tour, the ‘Poker Face’ star tweeted some new details about what fans can expect from the show.
The new stage will include an area called ‘The Monster Pit’ – if you get to the arena early and you’re dressed in appropriate attire (meat dresses, dangerously high heels and Kermit the frog hats all acceptable) then you might be given the chance to stand inside the pit to watch the entire show. The best part? Every night, a handful of lucky Little Monsters will be picked from the pit to meet Gaga herself backstage!
But that’s not all – Mother Monster even treated her Twitter followers to a preview of the brand new stage, which you can see below. We’re not entirely sure how a gigantic, gothic castle that looks like it takes up most of the stadium will fit into a pop concert, but we’re excited nonetheless. Time to start saving for tickets…
Stay tuned to Maximum Pop! for more news on the Born This Way Ball tour because as soon as we hear anything, you’ll be the first to know.
Are you going to see Lady Gaga on the Born This Way Ball tour?

Pixie Lott ‘Kiss The Stars’ acoustic – her worst performance ever?
If Pixie Lott’s record label are scratching their heads and wondering why her unfortunately-named 20-track-long second album ‘Young, Foolish, Happy’ has peaked at a massively disappointing 18 in the charts, they should probably watch this video. Tuneless singing, borderline-terrified facial expressions, and one fan letting everyone down by shouting out the wrong lyrics – it’s all a bit Mama Who? Oh dear. It’s not that we don’t think Pixie has the potential to be a great pop star, but this performance isn’t going to do anyone any favours; however firmly she wears her trademark inane grin. In short, so bad we’ve just broken our ‘be nice to popstars’ rule. Pixie Lott we’re very mad at you right now.

JUST IN: The Wanted’s ‘Glad You Came’ to feature on Glee!
Wowing the crowd on Ellen, getting a Top 40 single and performing to school kids all over the country just wasn’t enough for The Wanted was it? Their latest surprise in the attempt to make it big in the US – ‘Glad You Came’ will be featured on Glee.
We’re not 100% sure but this could mean the likes of Artie and Brittany will be covering it on the hit show. Radio station 102.7 KIISFM were the first to reveal the news, with the boys RTing to prove that it’s the truth. Congrats boys! *Tries to hold in scream*
Now feels like the perfect time to listen to the song and imagine how the Glee club might tackle it, right?
