Selena Gomez called Katy Perry after filming the ‘Bad Blood’ video. Find out what she said here.

Selena Gomez has been speaking about her involvement in Taylor Swift’s ‘Bad Blood’ music video and what her friend – and the song’s inspiration – Katy Perry had to say about it. It turns out that she didn’t have a lot to say at all.

Selena, who’s currently promoting new single ‘Good For You’, was speaking to New Zealand radio show The Edge about starring in the video and revealed that she DID phone Katy after the video. But they didn’t talk about her starring role as Arsyn.

“I love Katy. I just talked to her,” Selena told the station. “She’s amazing. But I didn’t talk about that, but I just talked to her. She’s awesome.”

We wonder what Katy does think of it. Bet she had a good ‘Roar’ about it.

Selena Gomez does her best Taylor Swift impersonation and it is (hair) flipping good.

Selena Gomez is busy working that cute lil’ butt of hers off whilst promoting her sexy new single ‘Good For You’ and has popped into iHeartRadio’s offices over in the US to answer some questions from a hat.

In the interview –  which was entirely made up from fan questions – Selena reveals that there are no plans to collaborate with fellow TV stars Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande, turns her hand to rapping and does an uncanny impression of her best friend Taylor Swift on stage. We literally thought Taylor had dyed her hair dark for like half a second.

She also gives a shoutout to her “passionate, committed and absolutely powering” Selenators. Hey honey!

Alarm Pop: Selena Gomez teams up with A$AP Rocky for sexy new track ‘Good For You’.

We’re all a bit shaken up at the moment because there is BRAND NEW SELENA GOMEZ MUSIC and it’s absolutely bloomin’ brilliant. After the release of her first greatest hits collection ‘For You’ which showcased the amazing pop tunes ‘Round & Round’, ‘Who Says’ and the mammoth ‘Come & Get It’, we were bouncing off the walls when Selena teased new music earlier this month. But we were not expecting this. Selena has left the world of Disney forever with her sexiest track ever.

The brand new single ‘Good For You’ is like nothing Selly G has released before, being a slow-tempoed, seductive track about looking the best you can for your partner. It literally could have been on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, it’s that hot.

The official video for the track, which features rapper A$AP Rocky, will be released THIS FRIDAY *scream*, have a peek at the video’s teaser here.

Now whilst you’re waiting for the video, have a listen to the official audio below:

5 Things you need to know about Hilary Duff’s comeback album ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’ It’s a corker.

For those of you who are too young to know (we feel very old right now), Hilary Duff is a ruddy amazing popstar. Hilary is the original Disney girl, rising to fame on Lizzie McGuire before Miley, Selena and Demi had even joined the network, let alone become the superstars they are today.

Since Lizzie McGuire finished in 2004, Hilary has starred in some of the best of the worst chick flicks ever and released three amazing pop albums spawning singles such as ‘So Yesterday’ and ‘Wake Up’ (YouTube them, they’re amazing).

Queen Disney I now returns from her hiatus with her fourth studio album ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’, her first musical release in over eight years. But is it what dreams are made of? We put it to the test and fill you in on 5 Things you need to know about the return of Hilary Duff.

1The album opens with brilliant lead single ‘Sparks’

‘Sparks’ is the first teaser of ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’ that we received and it’s an absolute corker of a tune. After listening to the rest of the album we can say that it definitely does reflect the sound of the record. The video’s blooming great too.

2 The album’s best tracks are…

Aside from ‘Sparks’, #H4 has some other brilliant highlights. Album tracks ‘My Kind’, ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’, ‘Lies’, ‘Stay in Love’, ‘Brave Heart’, ‘Belong’, and ‘Rebel Hearts’ are all pieces of pop perfection too.

3You could probably do with skipping…

We obvs have nothing against Hilary Duff, she is our childhood vixen, but we would have to say that ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’ could be a bit more of an all-killer-no-filler release if tracks like ‘One in a Million’, ‘Arms Around a Memory’ and ‘Night Like This’ were left on the cutting room floor.

Number 4There’s a shiny deluxe edition!

Just like every great pop album, there is a deluxe edition of ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out’ which includes ‘Chasing the Sun’ and ‘All About You’, both of which were promotional singles that didn’t make the final cut.

5It’s the perfect summer pop album.

Now, we’re not exactly expecting ‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’ to set the charts alight over here – Hilary’s highest charting album peaked at #25 in the UK – but for people like us and you who appreciate great pop music then this is the perfect album to get listening to this summer. Grab a few of your mates, get a few lemonades in and listen to Hilary Duff on the beach. Make sure you check out her old stuff too because ‘Why Not’ is our mother freakin’ jam.

‘Breathe In. Breathe Out.’ is released in the UK on June 22.

Is it your birthday? If so, here’s a vine of Niall Horan singing ‘Happy Birthday’ as a present. God, we’re good to you.

We don’t care how cheeky, naughty or possibly even illegal it may be,  we have decided to change Maximum Pop!’s birthday to June 17. Why? Because it’s a pretty amazing day. What makes June 17 so special, you ask? It’s the day that we discovered a vine of Niall Horan singing ‘Happy Birthday’, obvs.

we're gonna party like it's our birthday.
we’re gonna party like it’s our birthday.

Unfortunately it’s not actually our birthday and the lucky boy that gets Horan and his trusty guitar crooning the traditional tune is Alfredo Flores, who also happens to be best friends with Ariana Grande. Ooh, what could that mean?

Alfredo is a photographer and videographer (we’re guessing that’s just like a photographer but somebody who films) and has also worked with our mega famous bffls faves Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez amongst many more.

Psst, he directed that Justin/Kendall/Ariana edition of ‘I Really Like You’.

So, everybody, set your Facebook birthday to June 17 and shove the adorbs video that your boyfriend Niall Horan sent to you in everybody’s faces.
