The Wanted’s new album coming in March! Pop Bits
POP BITS. Good news if you like top-notch pop albums. Bad news if you are impatient. Tom Parker from The Wanted has said that the boys’ new album won’t be released until March 2013 – a depressing 6 MONTHS away.
The band’s label wanted to release their third album in time for the massive Christmas sales, but the the band put a stop to that. Tom told the Daily Star “We have about nine songs we are happy with and could put it out now but we’d prefer to have an album we are proud of and lose an extra 100,000 sales”. Gutted, but worth the wait, TW we salute you. POP BITS OUT.

Nathan, Siva, Tom, Jay and Max meet ‘Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’, it’s violent, cinematic and appears to have made some female MP!er’s ovaries explode. Welcome to The Wanted’s brand new video for ‘I Found You’ starring Boris, which in our humble opinion is the boys’ best effort yet. Well done guys.

Cher Lloyd’s new US single ‘Oath’ – we love it! Download or Ditch?
The one X Factor finalist we thought would never make it big, Cher Lloyd proved us wrong with her surprisingly good debut album last year and has only gone and made it big in America following in the footsteps of One Direction, Ellie Goulding and The Wanted – with a repackaged version of that LP finding itself inside the Top 10 this week.
Cher’s new single from that album – ‘Oath’ – is a brilliantly catchy ditty, instantly at home with the foot-tapping highlights on the album and arguably features some of her best vocals, particularly as she’s not hollering about running beats or being aggressive. Cher is promising unending love and solid devotion to her BFF, something that suits her as the bubbly, infectious beats and production combine with her improving vocals to make something unexpectedly sweet.
Even newcomer Becky G’s contribution to the song is well-handled, slotting in well alongside the tune which reeks of ‘late summer anthem’ and will probably end up with a ’90210′-inspired video down the line (not that we’re complaining!).
Listen to ‘Oath’ below:
Our advice? When it finally hits UK shores, download all the way.

One Direction dancing… to The Wanted! We’ve got the footage!
One Direction. Dancing. To The Wanted. Guess they were glad they came.
After impressing Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Rihanna during their MTV VMAs performance last week Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam were being lowered from the stage when The Wanted’s mega-hit ‘Glad You Came’ was blast across the arena’s speakers. Did the boys turn up their noses and demonstrate their supposed rivalry as detailed extensively by gossip sites inferior to MP!, or did they bash out some award-winning dad dance moves? Ermmm, let’s find out…
