Tich ‘Dumb’ video arrives – but is it any good?
Here at MP! we like to keep you up to date with the latest new songs and artists and we reckon we’re onto a winner here with new singer Tich who’s a singer-songwriter with plenty of spunk and sass and fresh from doing great covers on YouTube. The frankly adorable Tich has gone and released her new single ‘Dumb’ for us to hear and it’s a bit of a tune!
It’s all very Cher Lloyd-meets-Kate Nash as Tich begs the love of her life for another chance as she messed up their relationship – there’s an earworm of a chorus that’ll have it stuck in your head one way or another. The song is a bit of a mid-tempo blast and it’s perfect for the upcoming spring and summer.
We’d love to hear this out of radio for the next few months and with a bit of luck it might do that – the video’s a sweet, sassy affair where Tich tries her hardest to win back her hunky ex’s affections by speed dating, begging, switching more outfits than Carrie Bradshaw during fashion week and wearing a wig faker than the boobs on TOWIE.

After her One Direction and The Wanted covers got tweets from the band members themselves, I Am Tich is back with her own song ‘Sticks & Stones’ which is the official song of the Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying Programme. Great voice, lovely personality and Zayn Malik himself said she was pretty – it’s official, there’s nothing this girl can’t do. ‘Stick & Stones’ is a beautiful and powerful track about Tich’s experiences of being bullied. Welcome to Cover Corner where MP! champions people with massive talent, without massive fame. It’s a bit like the X Factor but without the million-pound budget, millions of viewers or Cowell’s chest hair. Today’s pick is the stripe-loving artist formally known as Rachel Furner – now known as ‘Tich’ – whose heartfelt rendition of ‘One Thing’ by One Direction is spot on.
