In an effort to promote this Saturday’s launch of new TV talent show The Voice, the BBC has released a video of judges Will.i.am, Jessie J, Tom Jones and The Other One covering the BEP’s ‘I’ve Gotta Feeling’. Visitors of a sensitive disposition should look away now. Sometimes getting 4 supposed superstars to combine forces delivers an amazing pop moment, and other times it looks a bit like your younger brother’s school play gone horribly, horribly wrong. Ouch, our ears.

    I agree that it wasn’t the right song choice, but ‘The other one’ for Danny O’Donoghue? The show hasn’t even started yet and you can’t refrain yourself from posting negative media about him.  He’s spent 15 years in the music industry, never uses auto tune, will meet fans for free unlike some bands who charge VIP payment to meet them. At least watch the show before you start criticising him.

    I agree with Liz, The ‘OTHER ONE’ has a name. don’t be so disrespectful towards Danny and wait until the show actually starts before you make judgements.

    How can you call him ‘The Other One’ he may not be as well known as the others but his music is some of the best music from a UK band for a long time! they write & produce all their own music unlike some ‘bands’ and they can actually perform live without auto tune again unlike some ‘band’ that seem to dominate the music charts! the show hasn’t even started yet and you are criticizing him!

    ‘The other one’ seriously? I agree with the comments below. He is actually amazing. The Script are amazing – their songs mean something and have relatable lyrics unlike many artists these days. He meets fans all the time, talks to them and has worked so hard to get where he is. He CAN sing.
