We have EIGHT copies of the DVD to give away to you, our beloved Maximumpop readers.
She may be a tough-as-nails, street-smart private investigator, but when total tomboy Molly (played by our girl Miley) is drafted by the FBI to go undercover within a college sorority, she finds that she’s way out of her class among a sisterhood of snooty, high maintenance, materialistic college girls. However, Molly accepts the pledge to protect one of the society debs, who holds key information which will be used at a trial where her father is about to testify against the mob. Despite being the opposite of her new “sisters,” Molly has to suck it up and bond with obnoxious upper crust trust fund babies if she’s going to succeed in her top-secret mission.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation – MP! at the movies
Not sure what to see at the cinema this Easter? If you’re looking for a non-stop action film, then look no further than G.I. Joe: Retaliation the explosion filled adventure that’s full of ninjas, bad ass girls and jaw dropping action scenes.
Jon Hornbuckle was at the world premiere of G.I. Joe: Retaliation last week to give you his verdict.
The film is directed by Jon M. Chu, (the same guy behind Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never movie)and stars Channing Tatum and Bruce Willis alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. HUNK OVERLOAD.
In this sequel to 2009′s G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, The G.I. Joe’s are being wiped out and the remaining survivors must fight alongside their enemies to defeat an even bigger threat which could see the end of the world! (Sounds dramatic, right?)
There’s some awesome special effects, including a scene where London is totally demolished (scary stuff!) plenty of twists and turns and non-stop action. Whilst it may be cheesy in places, it’s still one hell of a roller coaster ride that you won’t want to miss this Easter!

The Croods – 5 Things You Should Know
Dreamworks have been busy recently. As well as working on sequels to ‘Madagascar’, ‘Kung Fu Panda’ and ‘How To Train Your Dragon’, they are about to release the first installment of a new franchise – ‘The Croods’.
A full review will come from MP’s film reporter, Jon Hornbuckle soon but first, here are 5 things you need to know about what’s about to become your favourite film.

’The Croods’ follows the story of a cavegirl called Eep and her family as they try to survive what they think is the end of the world with the help of Guy, a boy who Eep has a big old crush on and who can blame her? He’s clever AND cute.
The cast includes Hollywood’s ‘girl of the moment’ Emma Stone, the hunky Ryan Reynolds and action hero icon, Nicolas Cage.
’The Croods’ was originally going to be made by Aardman, the insanely talented people behind ‘Wallace & Gromit’. We love Aardman but the 3D and CGI in ‘The Croods’ is so amazing that we couldn’t imagine it being done any other way!
There are a few similarities to Pixar’s ‘Brave’. What is it with all these ginger girls taking over recently?!
X Factor legend, Sinitta loved it after watching a preview this weekend. She described it as amazing and why would Sinitta lie to you?!
The Croods is released in UK cinemas on Friday 22nd March 2013.

Red Dawn – MP! at the movies
Fans of explosions, Hunger Games hunk Josh Hutcherson or Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth brace yourselves. Red Dawn, a remake of sorts of the 1984 film, is released this weekend and features Hemsworth, Hutcherson and explosions by the bucketload.
Maximum Pop’s film critic, Jon Hornbuckle, went to a top secret preview screening to give us his verdict.
Red Dawn is the story of two brothers, Jed (Chris Hemsworth) and Matt (Josh Peck) who, along with their friends, turn into a rebel army when America is invaded by the North Korean army. It’s a bit ambitious to think that 5 or 6 teenagers could destroy such a massive army but hey, it’s fiction so anything goes.
The group of jocks, nerds and sassy girls hide out in the woods where they train themselves up to be soldiers, luckily one of the brothers had just arrived back from serving in the US army out in Iraq.
There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. Some serious OMG moments means that you can’t bet on who will survive until the end! Red Dawn is full of heart stopping, nail-biting suspense as the teenagers rise up against the Korean invaders.
There are a few plotholes leaving things unexplained or just not making sense and female audiences will surely be devastated that there are no shirtless scenes in a film that has a cast of some of Hollywood’s buffest boys. Also, a lot of the dialogue can be quite cringe-inducing, it’s all very patriotic which might go down well with American audiences but falls a bit flat elsewhere.
There are a few negatives but Red Dawn doesn’t deserve many of the bad reviews it has had on the internet. Yes, it’s not perfect, but if you want a fun and slightly silly action film, then it’s worth a watch.
THE ROUND UP – If you can forgive them for that, you will enjoy Red Dawn, it has its flaws but it’s perfect just to chill out for 2 hours and enjoy the awesome battle scenes.
Red Dawn is released Friday 15th March in UK cinemas.

Oz: The Great and Powerful – MP! at the movies
Almost everyone on this planet has seen and loved The Wizard of Oz and rightly so, it’s a jolly good film. But it was made back in 1939 when special effects were nowhere near as cool as they are today and 3D films were still decades away.
Disney are taking us back to Oz this month with Oz: The Great and Powerful and since the movie was released last weekend it has been filling cinemas across the world. We sent Maximum Pop! film reporter, Jon Hornbuckle to see it and give us his verdict on Oz in the 21st century.
‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’ tells the story of a Wizard(James Franco) who ends up in the land of Oz after winding up in a weather storm whilst fleeing his travelling circus. Along the way we meet three battling witches (Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz) and Frank the flying monkey who provides loads of full on laugh out loud moments.
The visuals in this film are stunning. 3D hasn’t looked this good since ‘Avatar’. There’s loads of spears and fireworks shooting out of the screen and of course, James Franco looks even better in three dimensions! The tone of the film is a little dark but nothing bad enough to give anyone nightmares.
The film is a little on the long side (130 minutes) but you will hardly notice because the action and drama is so constant throughout. ‘Oz: The Great and Powerful’ has the fun factor by the bucketload. I’ve already seen it twice and could easily go for another ride back to Oz before it leaves cinemas.
The Round Up - Fans of ‘Wicked’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz’ will love ‘Oz:The Great and Powerful’ but it’s still totally accessible for newcomers to the franchise. The door is left open for another installment or two before Dorothy and her ruby slippers crash land into Oz. Let’s just hope we don’t have to wait too long to return to Oz (again).
Maximum Pop’s rating – 4.5 stars!

CLOSED: Tickets to an exclusive screening of Red Dawn.
Last week we offered you the chance to win tickets to an exclusive screening of Red Dawn. Our lucky winners of a pair of tickets each were @RitaMistry, @MindlessGangsta and @prettyxcool. We went along as well and you can read our review here. We’re very sorry if you missed out. But don’t worry, because Red Dawn is out in cinemas now.
Red Dawn is re-boot of the 1984 cult-classic. It’s an action-thriller that sees a group of young people defending their hometown from a North Korean invasion. It’s in cinemas nationwide from Friday 15th March and stars more hunks than should really be legal. There’s Thor’s Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson from Hunger Games and Josh Peck from the Wackness. That’s quite a lot of hunks.
1D in 3D will feature the boys’ upcoming O2 concerts. Pop Bits!
POP BITS. 1D In 3D. There will be meltdowns, there will drama, and there will be… footage from the boys’ upcoming concerts at the O2 Arena. That’s right, according to 4Music (and spotted by 1DUpdatesAu) we can confirm that 1D In 3D will feature brand new, not even happened yet, performances from their upcoming London O2 tour dates. Let’s make that reason 3,821,612 we can’t wait to see this film. POP BITS OUT.

Wreck-it Ralph – must-see movie
Think animation films are just for your younger sister? Think again! There’s a new guy in town and his name is Wreck-It Ralph. Maximum Pop! writer Jon Hornbuckle went along to a top secret early screening of Wreck-it Ralph. This is his verdict.
The latest film from Disney Studios (their 52nd in fact) is too freakin’ cool for school. Any video game nerds will love this movie. It is literally laugh out loud funny.
Wreck-It Ralph is about a down-on-his-luck guy called Ralph who is tired of being a bad guy. He needs to get a medal if he wants the respect of the locals but to do that Ralph needs to change games, something which is strictly forbidden. Naturally, chaos and mayhem follow and the laughs keep coming thick and fast as Ralph fights his way through a shoot ‘em up style world before crash-landing in the sickly sweet racing game world, Sugar Rush, in his bid to become a true hero.
There’s some pant-wettingly exciting cameos from iconic video game characters from Sonic to Mario via Pacman. It’s heaven for gaming geeks who will want to watch it again and again to spot all their favourite characters. It took us two times to catch all of them!
