One Direction become animated superheroes in brilliant cartoon

One Direction are instructed by Psymon Cowell to save the world’s “pussycats” (cue an array of puns) in a new animated cartoon from Mark Parsons, lead animator on TV hit Archer. He voices all the characters, male and female, and introduces his work by saying it was about time there was some 1D fan fiction “written by a dude”. The gags are sharp, the banter is high, and it’s probably the only chance you’ll get to see Niall and Zayn in Y-fronts. In two days it’s had three quarters of a million views on YouTube, and will probably smash the 1 million barrier before you can say ‘Lord Faptaguise’.
